Bantam Bengals Are 2017 YSBA Champions
Huge Congrats to the Bantam Bengals, YSBA CHAMPS!! Year to date the Bengals are 40Wins - 2Loss, 16 W - 0 L in YSBA League Play (198 Runs for vs 66 against). In Tournament play they are 18 Wins- 2Loss. They have made the Finals in all 4 Tournaments they participated in, winning both the Mississauga Majors and Muskoka Cup Tournaments. The Bengals won the 2017 YSBA Playdowns that were held in Orangeville Aug 11-13.The Bengals went 6-0, playing 3 games on Saturday and 3 more games on Sunday including winning a 3 hour marathon vs the Muskoka Hornets in the finals, qualifying for the Provincial Championships being held Sept 1-3, 2017 in Mississauga.
PeeWee Bengals Win Muskoka Memorial Cup Tournament
Orangeville Bengals Bantam Select Baseball Team Victorious in Mississauga The Bengals PeeWee Select Baseball team are Champs at the 9th Annual Muskoka Cup Baseball Tournament June 30 - July 2. They defeated Clarington Colts - 12-4, North York Blues 12-0, and had a walk-off win against the Burlington Bulls 3-2 to advance to the Semi-finals where the defeated the North Bay Stingers 8-5. They met the Ivy Rangers in the championship game, which was a hard fought back and forth game ending with a 11-10 nail biter.
Rookie Bengals Finish 3rd at Innisfil Tournament
Orangeville Bengals Rookie Select Baseball finished 3rd this past weekend in Innisfil beating Brampton in the consolation finals yesterday in extra innings 9 to 8
Bantam Bengals Win Mississauga Tournament
Orangeville Bengals Bantam Select Baseball Team Victorious in Mississauga The Bengals Bantam Select Baseball team participated in the Mississauga Majors Baseball Tournament May 26th – 28th. They went undefeated in the opening round beating North Toronto A’s, Martin Grove White Sox and the Mississauga Majors. The Bengals then met up with Bloordale Bombers in the semi-finals and dominated with a 17-2 win. The championship game was another decisive victory, downing Oakville Whitecaps 6-0.
