Blue Jays Clinic 2017

The Blue Jays Honda baseball clinic is coming to Orangeville on Sat June 17th 9am - 1pm @ Springbrook. Registration is online at the Blue Jays website.

During the clinic, players will rotate through drills that will cover all skills including: hitting, throwing, fielding, pitching, and base running. Coaches and parents are invited to come onto the field during the clinic to observe different drills and ask instructors questions to enhance understanding. Each participant will receive a Blue Jays hat, T-shirt and baseball manual. Pizza fundraiser to follow clinic. Register today!

New Play With Request Policy:Over the past few years we continue to have large groups of players requesting to play on the same team, these requests have occasionally exceeded the size of the actual team. This has made team formation extremely difficult and divisional team balancing almost impossible. The OMBA supports the concept of limited play-with requests because we are rural league and there are legitimate reasons like car pooling requirements that we try to accommodate as much as possible. However team balancing within a division is the primary consideration. Effective this year, families will be allowed to make 2 play with requests per player. For a play with request to be valid, the parent or guardian must update the registration prior to April 1, with the 2017 player ID number as well as the name. The other player must make the same request and have entered the cooresponding player ID number in their own registration. If play with requests are not "mutual" in this way (meaning both players request each other) then the play with request will not be used in team formation. Please note that siblings or coach / assistant coach pairings also count as 1 of each player's play-with request. Play with requests must be received and updated with the requested players ID number before April 1st, requests after this will not be processed. Exceptions to this limitation is as follows: 3 siblings within the same age division, and this does not apply to Tball, Jr Rookie or the Midget / Junior division.

All The Information You Need: The information regarding age divisions & play nights is posted on the right hand side of this page.

All the important season dates (practices start, team list posting, Opening / Closing Day etc) are posted on the left hand side of this homepage.

Copies of last year's schedules for all divisions are left online (under schedule option) so you can see what a typical schedule looks like (will be essentially the same each year other than Team Names / Numbers and some field changes). Fields can be found under the Map & Forms menu option.

Equipment and uniform info is listed on the left side of the homepage.

You will not receive emails from the league (except for registration confirmations). We post all the necessary information on the homepage as per the important date schedule so we don't have to worry about emails winding up in people's junk mail folders and being missed.

Team lists are posted here on the date listed in the Important Dates. Coaches may or may not contact players prior to the 1st Practice / Meet the coach session. The schedule and location for the Meet the Coach sessions will be posted on the homepage as per the Important Dates schedule.

After you register & receive your registration confirmation, check the website weekly and watch for updated announcements.
