2018 House League Play With Request Policy
Beginning this year, players in divisions from Rookie through Midget/Junior will be able to enter 1 play with request. For your request to be valid the following must occur: 1) you must enter the other player's ID number, 2) the other player must enter your player ID number, 3) Both registrations must be completed (paid) and 4) one of the 2 parents must volunteer for one of the open and available volunteer jobs (most non-coaching jobs involve 4-6 hours total time per season). The Play With Request & Volunteer system will be available from March 11th thru April 7. Note: All play with requests are subject to team/division balancing requirements.
New Members Information
All new members must create a login account using a verified email and password. Once the email is verified, you will be able to log into the system and continue with registration. In order to make the system simpler and easier to use, you will be able to view your registrations, modify play-with requests and print 2017-18 tax receipts (after June 15th) from inside the system without having to locate your registration numbers or receipts. (this will not apply to earlier tax receipts which must be access via the previous method).
If you don't receive your verification email link, check your Junk/Spam folders and then follow the resend email instructions on the login page.
All The Information You Need: The information regarding age divisions & play nights is posted on the right hand side of this page. All the important season dates (practices start, team list posting, Opening / Closing Day etc) are posted on the left hand side of this homepage. Copies of last year's schedules for all divisions are left online (under schedule option) so you can see what a typical schedule looks like (will be essentially the same each year other than Team Names / Numbers and some field changes). Fields can be found under the Map & Forms menu option. Equipment and uniform info is listed on the left side of the homepage. Why haven't I received any emails about season start up etc? You will not receive emails from the league (except for registration confirmations). We post all the necessary information on the homepage as per the important date schedule so we don't have to worry about emails winding up in people's junk mail folders and being missed. Team lists are posted here on the date listed in the Important Dates. Coaches may or may not contact players prior to the 1st Practice / Meet the coach session. The schedule and location for the Meet the Coach sessions will be posted on the homepage as per the Important Dates schedule. After you register & receive your registration confirmation, check the website weekly and watch for updated announcements.
New Jr Rookie All Star For 2018
The Jr Rookie All-stars. This development team is put together from the best players in the Jr Rookie age group. In addition to playing weekly in house league play the Jr Rookie All-stars will represent Orangeville at various T ball tournaments and Exhibition games throughout the Summer. This development program was designed for the elite level players looking to compete and develop through our Select and Rep program. For more information contact our Jr Rookie Development Coordinator Phil Lankhof. (webmail firstname.lastname@example.org).
2018 Junior Rep Team Info (Ages 19-21)
We’re looking for 18-24 players to field a Junior Baseball team in Orangeville to play in the YSBA. Our home games will be on weekends, and presumably double headers. We might be able to organize a practice during the week and before tournaments, but that depends on who will be available to attend. Tournaments in JR baseball are hard to commit to. We may be able to commit to a July tournament in May, but by June, everyone's schedule might force us to withdraw. As such, tournaments will be discussed prior to the start of the season. We will aim to play in 2, not including the Single A OBA Championships. If you or anyone you know is interested in playing Junior Rep Baseball in Orangeville - tell them to join "Orangeville Bengals 2018 JR baseball" on Facebook. Here's the link please like and share. For any questions or further information click to email the coach, Anthony Zambito or via webmail email@example.com.
